Then you can find where your open paths are and select each one individually and click on the 'merge' button in the pathfinder window (otherwise they all group together and move to the top of the layer).Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00709119618117409722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1046365298898926549.post-2740422305256211802010-05-26T23:19:13.010+08:002010-05-26T23:19:13.010+08:00one other thing - files saved as an eps 8 can'...one other thing - files saved as an eps 8 can't have transparancies or big effects that you can find in newer versions of Illustrator because they'll be rasterized and ruined (or at least will look sloppy). Gradient meshes work fine. Shutterstock (http://submit.shutterstock.com/?ref=325258) right now is the only site (so far) that allows you to upload Illustrator 10 files...so more 'tricks' are allowed.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00709119618117409722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1046365298898926549.post-85271580742980895902010-05-26T23:14:46.897+08:002010-05-26T23:14:46.897+08:00Hi there - I wanted to respond to your comment on ...Hi there - I wanted to respond to your comment on my blog about getting into microstock. When you save your files, make sure it's saved as an Illustrator eps. Click save and it'll open another screen that's titled 'eps options' - at the top is a pull down menu titled 'version:' and you can save it as an illustrator eps 8.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00709119618117409722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1046365298898926549.post-87686708873638979972009-09-14T21:45:20.694+08:002009-09-14T21:45:20.694+08:00Hi,
